"Hoshigami Rishu Deshi" Song • Updated

Rishu's image song! I used to have the full version MP3, but it got lost a few computers ago. :( The song is by SPOON (I think).

Lyrics provided by the uploader!

Zora o toberu ookina tsubasa wa nai deshiga
Kore demo ripa ni Shao-sama ni tsukaeru Hoshigami deshi
Nande minna tayorinai toka iu deshi ka

I don't have wings to reach the skies ~deshi
I am only one of the many Hoshigami that serves Shao-sama ~ deshi
Why does everyone say they don't need my help ~deshi?
Someone small like me can also do great things ~deshi
Please don't forget the only one always by your side
The smiling Rishu
Can you hear it after you clear your ears ~deshi?
My message is born from my smile ~deshi!
Please accept it!

Rishu Puffy Vinyl Desk Calendar

Another item that I haven't seen before! This is a little desk calendar from 2001. The back board is a two-color vinyl with foam in between, kind of like those puffy stickers that were popular in the 1980's. There is a clear vinyl pocket where the little calendar sheets sit. There are the 12 months as well as a little address sheet and a personal information sheet.

Rishu Key Lock

This is a pretty neat item that I have only seen once. And once was enough, because it was one of the things in that lot of Mamotte items that I needed to have!

It is a small key lock cast to look like a smiling Rishu. The size is a little larger than a diary lock. It is pretty heavy for a little thing, so the quality is probably very good. The lock was not opened when I got it, but it definitely has some wear on it.

I am not sure what you can lock with this . . . maybe a school locker? Regardless of purpose, it is really cute!

Shaolin Cell Phone Strap

This is the Shaolin companion to the Rishu cell phone strap. The Shao figure on the top is the same as the figure used on the mechanical pencil.

Mamotte Magnet Sheet

Another thing that I have never seen before! At first, I only saw the front of the pack. It seemed to be puffy vinyl stickers. Upon further inspection when I received the item, I found that they are magnets! Instead of a sheet of stickers, it's a sheet of magnets.

The magnets are printed in three colors with different chibi images from the OVA character designs.

Mamotte Day Planner Blank Refill Sheets

More day planner inserts! These refill sheets are completely blank, probably for drawing, sketching or pura stickers. There is a plaid "ribbon" on the top and bottom of the page, with Shao and Rishu on the top. The design is the same on the front and back.

Mamotte Comic Calendar 2001

In 2001, a Mamotte calendar was released. It has a different manga image for each month. The calendar is in an interesting book form. It is displayed using an easel that is included in the plastic package. Stickers were also included to use on important dates.

O_O

My two Yahoo!Japan scores came in today. :3 These were two Mamotte lots that I fought fierce bidding wars over. Now that I have them, I realize how much stuff was actually in them!

(FYI: Mamotte lots on Y!J are few and far between these days. Mostly you see the same items listed over and over again. Since those items are usually manga and phone cards, they don't hold much of an appeal to me.)

Just . . . wow. There is some cool stuff in here. A Rishu head padlock, a Rishu tin pencil cup, pins, Retrouvaille items . . . Eventually I will photograph them and list them individually. And there will be a bunch of the extras that will need to go on eBay. :x

OVA Rishu Roller Stamp

Hurray! I've been waiting for this! I love stamps for whatever reason. During the OVA, roller stamps were produced for Shao, Ruan and Rishu. I haven't seen the Shao and Ruan for a while.

The Rishu stamp has pink ink. Along with a little picture of Rishu, it says "Deshi!". It is really cute and still has some ink in it, despite it being a 10 year old product.
